Saturday in Uppsala –

So it was Saturday and I had looked up Uppsala Parkrun but their statistics put them in the joggers & runners category as their slowest is 38 minutes and my personal best is 65 minutes. So I went along to see and the course director said I could volunteer and svan the time chips. Everyone was friendly and I got my first volunteer and foreign run in my statics.

Aftewatds I went round the city park. A lovely parks with several planted area and it leads onto the local football gtound and behind it a free play area for all ages including areas for basketball, tennis and play areas for younger children.

After exploring the park I went back into the shopping district to check out a yarn shop. I am sure some knitters would love a Local Yarn Shop like Ylltyll.

And Swedes do seem to like liquorice!

And finally decided to go to the train station to look round and bought a salad for my tea which I ate out on s park bench watching people just go be.
