Sunday, 23 July at Freeman Art Centre
Sunday was an open air concert at the Freeman Art Centre in Fenwick Island just down Rte 1. It is a large flat field with a stage, lights and video screen displays. It is also BYOC – Bring Your Own Chair.
Dinner was tailgating in the car park while we put our chairs in the admission line/queue. All tickets are general admissions with a special sponsors section just in front of the stage.
The band plays jazz and swing and is celebrating their 30th anniversary. So they played their best songs and some of the audience were up and dancing on the sides. It was a lovely evening and the concert started at 7pm and finished as the sun was setting anf the moon had just come up.
