A very Happy Birthday with my family – 15th July

74th birthday and grand start to my 75th year!

My family together for a birthday celebration at Serpent’s Ridge Vineyard.

So we spent the day around the dinner table each with a different stitching project during the day. Judith was stitching the binding on one of Sue’s quilts. Ev was stitching on the border of a single bed quilt for Sue’s beach house, and I was trying out Swiss darning on a pair of socks I had knitted for Ev two years ago and now had holes in the soles. Susan was resting in her recliner with us. It was a very gentle start to my 74th birthday.

For the Evening we were going to Serpent’ Ridge Vineyard for their open evening with music and pizza from my nephew’s mobilpizzeria Staglio Pizza.
