For the second Friday in a row I ventured out to the Three Counties Show Ground. This time I went by train and taxi as driving to the RHS Spring Show the previous Friday had taken 3 hours for a normally 50 minute trip.
It has been a while since I have been back to this semi-annual show. The layout has remained the same but it seemed easier to get around and see things. There were a good range of vendors and several that were new to me. There appears to be a growing interest in using wool and felt. I really enjoyed the stands of Donegal Tweeds by Fabric Affair and House of Zandra.
The quilt displays were well organised and allowed room to see them although at a few I settled into practising patience in order to get clear pictures. I also got a chance to say hello to Angela Attwater who was demonstrating Westelee Rulers on Cotton Patches stand. I passed by her demo several times but it was always surrounded by a number of interested ladies, but just before leaving I caught her on a break. I must book onto one of her courses as we have had the Starter Set of Rulers for two years now. I also went back to get a photo of her newest published quilt design Cherry Blossoms.

Some details from a few of my favourite quilts on display:
