So the day did not go quite to Jamie’s plan. We were supposed to do Khadi printing, white paint on white cotton. But we found out that evening that the man expected to offer the white printing had tried to double his fee the night before. So we went to a lovely building being restored by the factory owner. Inside was a textile printing factory, tailors to order handmade, fitted clothing and rug weavers. Jamie called it Baloo’s factory…because there were several men sitting about a bit like the bear in Jungle Book.
